Garden Route Casino Draw

1. No person under the age of 18 is allowed to gamble or participate in this promotion.
2. Any person who has been issued with a Refusal of Entry order, who is self-excluded, or who fall into the category of excluded persons, is expressly prohibited from participating in this promotion.
3. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents, or consultants of or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the company or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners, or immediate family members.
4. This promotion is exclusive to Rewards members and will run from 15 June 2023 to either 9 or 16 December 2023. Electronic Draws will be held on 8 & 29 Jul, 5 & 26 Aug, 2 & 30 Sep, 7 & 28 Oct, 4 & 25 Nov, 2 & 9 Dec, and if the “Bonus CAR” is not won at any of the Main Draws, then a Guaranteed Bonus CAR draw will be added on 16 Dec 2023.
5. A process of declination to be present at a Draw will be available at the Customer Service Desk for the period between the opening and closing times of ticket activation before the actual Draw, where a participant can register to still be acknowledged for the prize, should he/she decline to be present for that Draw(s) or when the prize winners are announced on that day.
6. Participants must register to decline to be present at Draws in person. No person shall be permitted to act on behalf of a participant to exercise this rule. A positive and acceptable form of identification must be presented by relevant parties when completing this process.
7. Prize winners or nominated Proxies who are present will be given 90 seconds to present themselves and must have evidence of the winning ticket and/or Garden Route Casino Rewards card belonging to the winner; and a positive and acceptable form of identification.
8. Should a prize winner who is eligible for a prize but who is not present as a result of declining an invite to be present for the Draw, the casino shall take all reasonable steps to contact the prize winner via the contact details provided on the proxy nomination form or otherwise readily available. In such circumstances, the prize winner may within 15 days of the Draw claim the prize.
9. Rewards cardholders will receive Free Draw Tickets. The allocation per tier is as follows (for all draws in this promotion excl. Bonus CAR Draw): Gold tier = 10 tickets, Platinum tier = 20 tickets, and Black tier =30 tickets for each of the draws. From 16 Nov 2023 New tiers will be introduce and Free Tickets will be allocated as follows: Ten tier = 10 tickets, Jack & Queen tier = 20 tickets, King & Ace tier = 30 tickets.
10. Participants can earn additional draw ticket/s by playing Slots and/or Tables. Prior to 16 Nov 2023, ticket earning criteria are as follows: 100 points per ticket for the Early Bird Draws, 250 points per ticket for the Main Draws, and 500 points per ticket for the Car Draws. From 16 Nov 2023, ticket earning criteria are as follows: 70 points per ticket for the Early Bird Draws, 180 points per ticket for the Main Draws, and 350 points per ticket for the Car Draws. Tickets earned will be capped at 1000 tickets per draw.
11. For the Bonus CAR Draw on 16 Dec 2023, Garden Route Casino Rewards members who were gaming active from 15 Jun 2023 to 9 Dec 2023 will be allocated free tickets. The ticket allocation will be tiered and there will be a reduction in available tickets the closer you are to the draw. The allocation per tier is as follows:
    1. King & Ace Tier cardholders will receive 200 FREE tickets which will be available to activate from 18H00 on 15 Dec to 18H00 on 16 Dec. After 18H00 on 16 Dec, the tickets reduce to 160 tickets. The 160 tickets will be available to activate from 18H00 to 19H00. After 19H00 the tickets reduce to 120 tickets. The 120 tickets will be available to activate from 19H00 to 20H00. After 20H00 the tickets reduce to 80 tickets. The 80 tickets will be available to activate from 20H00 to 21H00. After 21H00 the tickets reduce to 40 tickets. The 40 tickets will be available to activate from 21H00 to 22H00. Black Card holders can only print one set of tickets.
    2. Jack & Queen Tier cardholders will receive 100 FREE tickets which will be available to activate from 18H00 on 15 Dec to 18H00 on 16 Dec. After 18H00 on 16 Dec, the tickets reduce to 80 tickets. The 80 tickets will be available to activate from 18H00 to 19H00. After 19H00 the tickets reduce to 60 tickets. The 60 tickets will be available to activate from 19H00 to 20H00. After 20H00 the tickets reduce to 40 tickets. The 40 tickets will be available to activate from 20H00 to 21H00. After 21H00 the tickets reduce to 20 tickets. The 20 tickets will be available to activate from 21H00 to 22H00. Platinum Card holders can only print one set of tickets.
    3. Ten Tier cardholders will receive 50 FREE tickets which will be available to activate from 18H00 on 15 Dec to 18H00 on 16 Dec. After 18H00 on 16 Dec, the tickets reduce to 40 tickets. The 40 tickets will be available to activate from 18H00 to 19H00. After 19H00 the tickets reduce to 30 tickets. The 30 tickets will be available to activate from 19H00 to 20H00. After 20H00 the tickets reduce to 20 tickets. The 20 tickets will be available to activate from 20H00 to 21H00. After 21H00 the tickets reduce to 10 tickets. The 10 tickets will be available to activate from 21H00 to 22H00. Gold Card holders can only print one set of tickets.

The Maximum number of tickets in the draw per member is Black 200, Platinum 100 and Gold 50. For the Bonus CAR Draw, Qualifiers must activate their tickets at the eHost from 18H00 on 15 December 2023.

12. Tickets are earned during specified periods as set out in the table below with ticket printing only from 15H00 on the days of the draws. (The Draw on 16 Dec will only take place if the “Bonus CAR” was not won at one of the Main draws by 2 Dec 2023)

13. Draw tickets cannot be purchased through cash, points, or any other form of consideration.
14. Tickets can be activated on either the eHost or the Tsogo Sun Mobile App for all the draws except for the Bonus CAR Draw on 16 December 2023, where only the Ehost can be used to activate draw tickets. To activate ticket/s on the Tsogo Sun Mobile App, members need to have their membership cards active on either a slot machine or on Tables.
15. Ticket receipts for tickets activated through the Tsogo Sun Mobile App will be found under “Profile>My Draw Tickets” on the Tsogo Sun Mobile App. No physical receipt will be printed for Tsogo Sun Mobile App ticket activations
16. For the Early Bird and Main Draws on 8 & 29 Jul, 5 & 26 Aug, 2 Sep, 7 & 28 Oct, 4 & 25 Nov and 2 Dec an electronic draw system will be used to select 5 winners per draw:
17. a) Participants may have more than one ticket in draws, but can only be drawn once per draw.
18. b) The Early Bird Draws will take place at 19H00, where 5 winners will each receive R1,000 CASH & R1,000 FreePlay.
19. c) The Main draws will take place at 21H00, where 5 winners will be selected to reveal their prize from 8 Prize Reveal boxes’
20. d) A “Bonus CAR” Decal will be hidden in one of the 8 boxes together with the Cash & FreePlay prize of that box.
21. e) The participant who selects the box with the “Bonus CAR” decal, will have an opportunity to pick 1 ball from a box/bag of 15 balls (14 Red Balls and 1 Green Ball). If the participant draws the green ball he/she will win the “Bonus CAR”. Should the “Bonus CAR” be won, the decal will be removed for the remainder of the Main Draws.
22. f) The 5 winners will each select a prize reveal box and will receive Cash and FreePlay prizes as set out below

17. For the Early Bird and CAR Draws on 30 Sep and 9 Dec, an electronic draw system will be used to select 5 winners per draw:
    1. Participants may have more than one ticket in the draws, but can only be drawn once in the Early Bird draws and once at the two finalist selection draws.
    2. The Early Bird Draws will take place at 19H00, where 5 winners will each receive R1,000 CASH & R1,000 +Play
    3. The CAR finalist draws will take place at 20H00 and 22H00, where 5 winners will be selected to reveal their prize from 5 Prize Reveal boxes.
    4. 5 Finalists will be selected for entry into the CAR Prize Reveal after the 22H00 Draw, or CASH and FreePlay prizes as set out under “Draw Prize Breakdown”

18. For the Bonus CAR Draw on 16 Dec, an electronic draw system will be used to select 5 winners
19. Only applicable if the Bonus CAR is not won by 2 December 2023.
20. Participants may have more than one ticket in the draw, but can only be drawn once.
21. The draw will take place at 22H00, where 5 winners will be selected to reveal their prize from 5 Prize Reveal boxes.
22. Prize Breakdown:

19. A re-draw will take place if a participant is drawn for a second, third, etc. time.
20. In the event of technical failure or damage to the device used for the promotional draw, irrespective of the cause, another suitable device or method will be used, at the sole discretion of Management. This may include rescheduling draw dates and/or times
21. The CASH and +Play, prize winners must claim their prize at the casino within 15 days of the draw.
22. CASH and +Play Prizes must be redeemed at CASH Desk.
23. Arrangements for the handover of the CARS will be separately made with the winners.
24. All decisions are final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into
25. Any person transgressing the rules of this promotion will be disqualified;
26. Every participant in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation;
27. The above clauses are severable from each other. Should any clause or part thereof be found to be unenforceable by operation of the law, such clause or part thereof will be severed, and the remaining clauses shall remain in force;
28. The Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board will be informed of unresolved disputes, subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.
29. Any complaint and/or dispute can be lodged with the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.
