Mossel Bay has the second most moderate climate in the world (more than approximately 320 sunny days on average per year) and boasts 24 km of long sandy beaches, making it an amazing holiday destination. There is also a huge choice of things to do in Mossel Bay with attractions ranging from whale watching and shark cage diving, to hiking, golfing, surfing and safari viewing.
Mossel Bay also has the largest shell collection in Africa at the unique Bartholomew Dias Museum, which also houses the life size replica of Bartolomeu Dias’ caravel.
