He is performing his show An Intimate Affair at the Garden Route Casino’s Bravo Lounge on Friday the 14th of February. His soulful rendition of classic love songs is certain to elicit a wave of emotion from even the most stoic listener.

Young, who performed with his band at the Bravo Lounge in February 2013 to rave reviews, travels extensively to perform with critical-acclaim in the USA, China and the UK. Nominated five times for the South African Music Awards, Young’s debut album, “Soul People”, topped the SA Charts twice. The Saxophone Journal, USA has called him “A Saxophonist with a ton of technique and funky soulfulness”, while The Beijing Times has dubbed him the “Prince of the Saxophone”. He has also toured with well-known artists including Dionne Warwick, Shirley Bassey, Gino Vannelli,Jonathan Butler and Joseph Shabalala.
Couples can enjoy a delicious snack platter from 19:30, before the show, for R100 per person, or they can just attend the show, from 20:00, for R50 per person.
