Exciting new offerings at Garden Route Casino to celebrate 20Plenty!
Garden Route Casino, Mossel Bay’s favourite entertainment destination, has started its magnificent transformation. It’s a new year, a new decade and a new beginning that has everybody talking! To accommodate the exciting new offerings, the casino has had to make some changes to the day-to-day operation. Please be patient, it will be well worth the wait!
Say goodbye to Admirals and Red Cherry and a hearty hello to Billy G!
On Monday, 13 January Admirals Restaurant and the Red Cherry Café closed their doors to make way for a Tsogo Sun Gaming family buffet-style restaurant: Billy G – coming soon! From succulent cuts of meat at the carvery, to a variety of casseroles, curries and vegetarian offerings, seafood, pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza, salads and tantalising desserts – Billy G will offer something to suit every palate. The Tsogo Sun gaming group opened its first Billy G buffet restaurant in 2010 at Montecasino in Gauteng, followed by five more in various other Tsogo Sun casinos. The Garden Route Casino Billy G will be the first of its kind in the Western Cape. You won’t be disappointed!
A change is as good as a holiday!
Garden Route Casino is not only opening the much-anticipated Billy G – the casino will also be upgrading the gaming floor, the casino floor bar and the surrounding facilities, including the Salon Prive. You’re going to LOVE the fresh new vibes!
The Ace of Sweets steps up to the plate!
The Ace of Sweet’s hours have been extended because you can’t order food on the casino gaming floor until Saturday, 1 February. During the week the Ace of Sweets – with additional food offerings – will stay open until 01h00. On weekends the Ace of Sweets will only close at 02h00! That gives you more than enough time to grab a snack if hunger strikes!
Bravo to Bravo Lounge!
The Bravo Lounge kitchen will operate from 09h00 to 23h00 daily. What’s more, you can now also enjoy a scrumptious breakfast and coffee offering at Bravo Lounge! It’s the perfect way to start the day sunny side up!
The show must go on!
As of Saturday, 1 February a temporary bar will be set up on the casino gaming floor – you’ll be able to order food and coffee from the waiters on the casino floor. If you need something a bit more substantial and are a Rewards cardholder, you and a maximum of three guests will be able to enjoy a buffet offering at Garden Court Mossel Bay – but only if you are a Rewards cardholder. Every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday evening (17h00 – 22h00) and Sunday lunch (12h00 – 16h00) it will only cost you R95 per adult and R75 per child (up to 12 years) to eat as much delicious food as you like! Bon Appetit!
Director of Operations and Complex General Manager of Garden Route Casino, Ryan Nicholas, is excited about the changes. He said, “My staff and I look forward to seeing our regulars enjoying the new offerings and facilities. Our aim is to be the first choice of all locals and vacationers when it comes to entertainment in the Garden Route.”
